Boconcept
The `One` chair from BoConcept has just been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2008. Designed by Denmark`s Anders Nørgaard, it has been selected from 3,203 products from companies in 51 countries and judged according to criteria such as degree of innovation, functionality, ergonomics, longevity, ecological compatibility and clarity of function. We chose the name ‘One’ because of its unique way legs and seat visually appear as one unified whole. It distinguishes itself from other shell chairs in that the 4 legs are actually constructed to be mounted directly into the shell of the seat. But other than it`s ingenious legs, beautiful curves and minimalistic design, a lot of time and effort has been put into making a very light, bouncy chair that ergonomically regulates itself according to your body. The one chair is stackable, suitable for inside and outside use and more to the point is exceptionally comfortable!
