Re Form the Norm

This is an interpretation of the classic panton chair shape using a layering technique to allow ergonomic surfaces for comfort and to give the desired appearance. Curved surfaces also lend strength and stiffness to this cantilevered design making it surprisingly rigid given its shape. This one is made using reclaimed mahogany and is equally suited to solid wood or sheet materials such as birch ply.
