Open to all members of the CEC, the Creative Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 award will reward a company or individual who has achieved a genuine combination of commercial success and creative excellence over the last 12 months of trading. The award is designed to celebrate talent within the club and showcase the economic impact of the creative industries in Scotland.
Ever since we launched the Creative Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2005, the industry has really sat up and taken notice. Once again, this year offers you the chance to reveal your talents, outline your strengths and prove just how much you have accomplished amidst the numerous hurdles that exist.
Each member of the CEC is invited to nominate either themselves or one of their management team for the title Creative Entrepreneur of the Year 2008. The award will be presented to the person(s) whose work consistently demonstrated a high level of creativity and originality aligned with commercial achievement in the last twelve months of trading. A panel representing business, cultural and creative sectors, will judge the award.
The competition is open for nominations with the deadline set for Friday 23 January 09.
