- How to determine and test your objectives
- What goes in a media pack
Plus:
- How to adopt the right style
- How to make it newsworthy
We also pay attention to public relations in general and some of the do's and don'ts. You'll come away with new ideas, useful handouts and helpful templates.
Exercises
The workshop is conducted in a relaxed hands-on manner. It consists of a series of practical yet entertaining exercises, based on real situations. Here is an overview.
1. Find out who your reader is.
2. What is so special about the written word?
3. The press is dead, long live the media.
4. Circumvent the other pitfalls.
