International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year (IYDEY) 2008
The British Council and Creative Entrepreneurs Club would like to invite you to a reception to meet the finalists for our International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year (IYDEY) 2008 award.
The event will take place in the Mackintosh Interpretation Centre @ The Lighthouse on Wednesday 10 September, as a chance for young designers and architects to enjoy a few drinks with the finalists prior to their return to London, where the IYDEY winner will be announced at 100% Design.

About the IYDEY award
The British Council International Young Design Entrepreneur of the Year (IYDEY) award champions and celebrates the importance of creative entrepreneurs in the field of design, particularly in diverse and often untapped markets. IYDEY showcases individual achievement and potential and is open to design entrepreneurs between the ages of 25 and 35.
The British Council in each country has worked with local partners and leading figures in their local design sector to select a national finalist. The ten selected entrepreneurs are drawn from a range of sectors, including architecture, graphic design, product design, design promotion, and interactive and digital media. The ten countries taking part in this year's award are Argentina, China, Estonia, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Poland, Slovenia, Thailand and Venezuela.
