City States: Challenging Urban Density - Tall Buildings

24 September 2008, 7.00pm - 9.00pm
Vitra Conference Suite, The Lighthouse

Challenging Urban Density: Tall Buildings is the second in the 'City States' series planned in association with the Glasgow Institute of Architects (GIA).

As the regeneration of Glasgow continues architects and developers are challenging the city's spatial framework. How will Glasgow respond to the desire for tall buildings?

Ian Simpson of Ian Simpson Architects and Gordon Murray of Gordon Murray and Alan Dunlop Architects will take this opportunity to air their thoughts on the subject. The event will be chaired by Brian Evans, Deputy Chair, Architecture and Design Scotland.
